I found a pc i had in storage for the past few years but when i went to start it up, i couldnt remember the password. I know there is a way to get around this but i can't remember. Any help is appreciated. smile.gif

Win 2K Pro, being a Microsoft business op system as opposed to a "home" system has pretty good and redundant security built in, so hacking a password is not an easy thing to accomplish with it.

Try really hard to remember the password.

All other things aside, it would be against the board's policy to assist someone in breaking into a computer when we have no way of knowing if it was indeed their computer and since most users of Win 2K Pro were commercial entities there might be an additional legal liability in assisting someone in breaking the security of the system were it not owned by them.
