at age 14 I smashed my face & cracked my knee running into a concrete-based aluminum light pole on a parking lot in 10th gear of my bicycle gawkin' at a Corvette that was customized. My bike didn't get a scratch on it. I used one leg to very slowly sorta pedal home. Spent the summer in a full leg cast that I used model car spray paint on twice a week to relieve my boredom. First discovered pain & pain killers that day. OUCH!!
