Hiya Guys,

Just bought a new hard drive and installed it in my computer, in the bios it shows up as 250 GB as it should but when i am in windows in computer management it will only show up as 128GB, can someone explain to me why this is and what i can do to sort it.

Do you have SP2?

If not, you need to get it because XP was limited as to the size drives it would recognize before SP2.

You need it anyway though, because it was primarilly a security update and without it your computer is tremendously more vulnerable to viruses and malware.

SP2 also increased functionality in XP in myriads of ways as well.
