During the boot-up of a Windows 2000 system, a picture from either an old screen-saver or some where in the computer appears on the screen behind the log on box. When I log on it is replaced by the right wallpaper. I have searched high and low for the image, etc and havent been able to find it. Anyone know where in the registry or in an ini file somewhere I can find this thing and remove it.

P.S. I do not know the file name or extenstion.

Thanks.

Very curious!

You can do a search for *.jpg and find the pic and either delete it or rename it.

What is supposed to load is called the "splash file".
