Hello everyone. First off, I want to thank all the friendly and helpful people in this forum.
I've been able to rid of Trust In Popups and other various malware with help from the wonderful
information that is available here.

On to my question. After I run a Full System Scan with the Lavasoft Ad-Aware, my
IE homepage automatically switches to www.msn.com

Is this normal? Do I have an undetected spyware of some sort?

It'd be great to get some help. Thanks once again.

What do you have set as your homepage?
It might be something Ad-aware considers a risk.
Do you review the entries Ad-aware displays after a scan, before having it fix them.
See if one of the entries is associated with your homepage.
If it is, and you want Ad-aware to leave it alone, set Ad-aware to ignore the entry in future scans:

After the scan is complete, locate the entry.
Right click the entry, and select Add Selected to Ignore list.

My homepage is http://www.yahoo.com
When I run a system scan, I do not check for things that are not a threat.
Thus, usually only tracking cookies or spywares appear after a full system
scan. So, I don't think Ad-Aware is deleting my homepage or anything like that.

Ah ha! smile.gif In the configuration window, there is the "Default" category.
In there, the homepage is listed as www.msn.com. So, I changed that
to www.yahoo.com and now Ad-Aware doesn't change it back to
www.msn.com now.

Thank you, tg1911, for replying so quickly and helping me out.
