Hi,
Just wondering whether a PCI graphics card will still function normally in the PCI slot on the motherboard even if the motherboard has a PCI Express slot too which is supposedly meant to be used for a graphics card?
Thanks

Yes. In that regaurd it's no different then using a pci video card and leaving an agp slot empty.
Check default video options in the bios before doing so though. smile.gif
Recycling an old card?

Thanks, i'll check the bios as soon as I get the computer to work at all. I am using an old card yea and I was actually hoping that this was the problem as at least I would know I just needed to buy a new card.
Cheers
