Excessive use of anything can be harmful.

Moderation is the key.

Each must learn the limits for oneself on any subject.

Do you mean
Is Excess Bad? in which case Bad for Who?

I'm gonna say No and Yes
No its Not Bad
I Am Disabled therefor i don't go to the Pub Mon - Fri like i used to Getting Drunk, Gettin Stoned as an Early Christian, Getting in Fights, Breaking things waking up with some right Moose .
I Still socialize only in a different way In My Clan use Comms which is the same as talking to someone in a Club
(without the THUD THUD THUD).
We all met last year so we know what eachother looks like, The Pub i worked the Door you couldn't tell who your talking to.

So really its Saved me, having been arrested more than a few times i doubt i'd get away with a fine now.

Not Good for My 19,619 Victims in Battlfield 2 lmfao.gif

And Why i think its Bad
It's Expensive laugh.gif

Don't want to shut down this convo, but games are just that games.

Try living real lives.
Or be stupid like me and serve in military for life.
Race motor cycles until one is so injured one can't almost walk.
Or jump out of perfectly good aircraft - just for fun?
BTW - I can still walk/run and all that jazz.

Or or one can live a life on the www as a mouse-potato?

I would reiterate Koan's moderation.
IMO, the most detrimental effects may be to the eyes, wrists, and physiology. All that sitting reduces good excercise time and that has a lot of effects. Get up, go excercise for 20 min., it'll also give your eyes a break. That'll also make you a healthier gamer.

Exactly. You need to exercise to keep that clicking finger in a fast and healthy state. laugh.gif
