I am running Windows 2000 professional . I am running through cable and my home page is Yahoo. When I am on the internet and I click a link sometimes a new window opens and says internet explorer but the page is completely blank.Half the time links will open fine only when I see the internet explorer box come up the links are blank. I have gone through all my setting in the tools advanced section but nothing helps solve the problem.Iam not the smartest computer guy but I can get around it O.K.

Hi garyb, welcome to BC.
Are these hyperlinks completely blank? No "page cannot be displayed" message or anything?
If so, try this:
Close all open apps and open a command prompt. (Start>Run>cmd>enter)
Type the following two commands below, 1 at a time exactly as shown (note the space between "32" and the dll name) then hit your enter key after each.

regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

When done, type "exit" (no quotes) and hit your enter key.
Launch IE and try some hyperlinks again.
