The writers of the Bagle, MyDoom, and Netsky viruses are waging a war to control your computers. It has been found by virus protection companies that the writers of these viruses have been inserting hidden taunts to each other inside their viruses.

Virus experts feel this war started when the author(s) of the Netsky virus made it so his/her virus would, if upon finding a computer infected with the Bagle or MyDoom virus, disable them. This led to a war with new versions of the viruses being released in quick succession containing taunts between the Bagle/MyDoom authors and the Netsky author.

<i>to netsky's creator(s): imho, skynet is a decentralized peer-to-peer neural network. we have seen P2P in Slapper in Sinit only. they may be called skynets, but not your ****** app.</i>

<b>Bagle.J:</b>

<i>Hey, NetSky, **** off you *****, don't ruine our bussiness, wanna start a war?</i>

Recently, it seems MyDoom has dropped out of the battle, but the battle continues with Bagle and Netsky. Even though the messages hidden inside the viruses seem to have stopped, new variants of these viruses have been appearing almost every day, attemping to disable each other. Within the past two days alone, 2 new versions of Bagle and 1 of Netsky have been found. Unfortunately, there is no clear end in sight and the virus authors will continue their personal war, using your computer as their battleground, until they get bored or arrested.

My only advice to you, the end user, is keep updating those virus protections daily.
