are the tabs (Home Tutorial Forums Glossary Resourses, etc ) at the top of the pages of BC acting funny when viewing this website through Firefox or is it just me?

I viewed the page with IE (god help me), and the tabs were normal there. No biggie, just thought I'd ask.

Hi Bernie70,

I just tested both browsers, Ff and IE6, and both renditions appear the same to me.

Can you explain a bit more what you mean by "acting funny"?
Bernie70
well when i click on the tutorial tab, it takes me to the forums page (as if i had clicked there - 3rd spot from the left). when i click on the forums tab, it takes me to the tutorials page - 2nd spot from left).

when i click on the glossary tab, it changes to the Start up tab (it still stays in the 4th position). when i click on the File Database tab, it takes me to the File database tab, but it switches to the 8th position.

I feel like i'm in the semi Twilight Zone. but then again, it's no biggie.

Hmm.. that is odd. But they all work for me in Firefox. smile.gif

Very interesting anomaly.

Have you tried clearing your cache in Ff?

Click on "Tools" > options > privacy > cache, and then click on "clear cache".
That's about the only thing I can think of offhand.

Im wandering if its Grinler altering somthing or not as this happened to me earlier but its working fine now,and it also happened with IE!

EDIT: Ok update, its happening on mine again now???????
yano
Nope if you go to http://bleepingcomputer.com and click on "fourms" (at the top of the page) it takes you tutorials.
graveangel
Yep, infact if you click on all of the tabs except the HOME one, they all take you to the incorrect place!
Maybe Grinler did alter somthing and forgot to change it again!
Bernie70
Whew I was afraid I was the only one in the mini-Twilight Zone.

Hmm..im not seeing this behaviour. I did screw up the headers at one point, but if you clear your cache, or restart your browser, that should fix the problem
boopme
They worked fine for me also all nite.
nyiddle
Works fine for me.

But if anything it's your cache since (as I've read) he altered the headers for a while, and your browser might be looking back at that altered headers point and not the current one. Hey! I get caches now.
yano
Yea it is the cache, cause I just ran CCleaner and now it's all working smile.gif

I see the TITLE attribute & some alt text was added to the tabs image map.
