Hello,

Ik tried the above mentioned program to check my memory since I got a 0x00000050 bleu screen. Which can mean a memory error or a harddrive error.

When I ran the progam, at about 50% testing it crashed leaving this message:

chipset: AMD 761 (ECC: Disabled)

Unexpected Interrupt - Halting

My question is, is this a random crash or is there something wrong with my memory

Thanks,

If you have more than one RAM modules, remove one at a time and see if one is defective.

I concur. It is most likely a bad memory stick.

I hope it's a bad memory stick. I'm going to do what you said.
This is the only thing I can try at the moment, because my computer starts with a blue screen and the win2k cd boot to refresh the system gives a blue screen at "windows setup is starting". In short I can't work with my computer anymore only blue screens.

I'm going to try to remove the stick, if you think that it is something else while reading the above pleas tell me. It's important for me to know what hardware is broken.

Many thanks,

Mercy

Remember you need at least one memory module installed for the computer to boot. If you only have one module this test will not work. You wil have to barrow a module to test and see if the RAM module is bad.
