S1acking computer needs,
I'm assuming you are using internet explorer. If so the following will do what you need.
The AutoComplete feature can be enabled / disabled by modifying a preference in Internet Explorer. Here's how to change the setting with IE6:
Start Internet Explorer
Click Tools > Internet Options
Click the Content Tab
Click the AutoComplete Button
Ensure that "User names and passwords on forms" and "prompt me to save passwords" both have a check-mark.
Close internet explorer > restart computer
Be (Auto Complete) Safe

um... i guess i'll just re-say what animal said

internet options -> general -> clear history. (for clearing the websites that you've visited.)
internet options -> content -> autocomplete -> clear forms.

Either that, or CCleaner will clean that stuff up for you

Is the "it" you are talking about the Google toolbar?
If you are click the arrow by where it says Google on the toolbar and then click on Clear Search History. That will clear out your past search history.
