I used to log in to our nt server as Francis and password francis (I am using winxp pro), I wanted to change to another name Francisteo and password francisteo.

So I go to user management in NT machine and delete user Francis and add new user Francisteo. The same goes to my machine, I change my account name to Francisteo and password to francis.

The problem now is that even I log in as Francisteo with the password francisteo (XP start up), whenever I need to access to the files and folders on the server I have to key in one more time userid and password as it pop up a screen.

This never happens before, please advise.

Btw, anyone know how to change the "Registered to: XXX" information in the winxp's system properties under general?

Since this involves altering the registry I suggest you do a registry backup before doing this.
