Does anyone know of any ways to strengthen a wireless network significantly without having to spend money? Also if there are none, does anyone know of a way that doesn't cost much. I am running a D-Link Wireless Router, by the way. Thanks in advance!

I would say that putting those computers on your network as close to each other as possible may help... LOL, kind of a silly suggestion but that's the best I can come up with. Just trying to be helpful.

If your network is in a building with old plaster walls, that could be a big problem for your wireless network. Those older walls will have a wire mesh inside the plaster that will mess with the signal. At least, that's what I've heard.

So... Take down all your walls and see if that doesn't help! thumbup.gif

Anyone think that if I wrapped my antenna in aluminum foil it would help? (It already keeps the aliens out wink.gif )

If you are willing to spend a little money you could get a repeater... It captures the low signal and then sends it out amplified.
