How do you think that you can make a hidden link?
There is a hidden link in this thread somewhere. Can someone find it, and post back how I did it? Even though it can be quite easy to figure out, it may make you wonder what other messages contain hidden things. An Easter Egg at BC, if you will...Thanks for the suggestion to turn it into a game, KoanYorel!

I just "hung" up my XP system doing that Hide a pixel thing
for the first time in several years...
I've no idea how I messed it up as I've been doing it so
long that it was almost second nature for me, but I did manage to
stall my XP trying to e-mail via "OutlooK' the same thing I've
done for years, & years.
Maybe it was the SP2 upgrade or was it the change over to FF
I can't really remember the last time I tried to execute a
similar "dot" xmsn. Heh heH....
I''ll figure it out eventually, no doubt.

Yep, finding the link is the easy part. Figuring out how to make it hidden is the tough part.

Pixel included. My McAfee AV apparently couldn't handle the scan(???)!
I had to mess with it all several times 'til I figured that part out. Now I just need to
figure out how to get it passed the AV.... without shuting it down/off.

Aside comments shouldn't be considered unless they would predominate
and take over the Thread. I don't believe any of us minded that short diversion.
My McAfee still refuses to release or send out that Pix with the "extra pixel" in it via my Outlook e-mail proxy.
Pretty savvy AV system considering I don't think it's seen that kind of item as an
outgoing message before this. But I can go to g-mail and copy/paste/input it into mail
that I send from there. And g-mail sends it out as requested to whomever. tee-hee....
Now, if I could only get the URLs of some spammers - I'd send them a small kernel of my mind wrapped around a tracking pixel.....

I was not saying that you would flag it off topic. There is someone who has posted in the thread that me, and it has been a running gag between us for some time. It is not meant to play any harm or anything.

Just weird. Google it. My version will work in HTML but not bb code. I need to make it fit or really work in bb code you know!?
Scarlett, the link that you provided was VERY close to what I am saying. If you omit the portion about images, then you get the idea. To anyone who is curious, this is NOT done with hidden pixels, but it is done with hiding a character. Also, the conversation was dated back in '01, so even though BB Code may not have been around then, he does hint on how it can be done.
