Dear friends...

I have a problem with my computer, which works on an ASROCK P4VM8 motherboard. It has been working smoothly for about a year but today, during a power-on, it displayed the following message:

P4VM8 BIOS P1.00
CPU : Intel ® Celeron® CPU 2.40 GHz
Speed : 2.40 GHz

Press F2 to run Setup
Press F11 for Boot Menu

(6B38 is shown on the lower right corner of my screen)

However, no matter what I press, nothing happens! F2 says: Entering Setup and F11 says: Boot selections Popup menu has been selected and nothing else... The computer just freezes!

Any suggestions?
Thanx in advance! thumbup2.gif

Hello everybody!

Unfortunately, no beeps come out... I suppose the number of beeps would give me an indication of the problem, right? Do you think a BIOS reset would help?

Thanx a lot!
