Hello,
A colleague of mine recently raised an interesting question that I didn't have the answer to. I have Safe Eyes 2006 on my laptop to help me monitor my internet usage time, make sure I don't look at pornography, etc. Her question was whether or not it is possible to hack into a parental control program. Safe Eyes is part of SafeBrowse.com for those who are interested.

So with all this being said.....

Is it possible to hack into a parental control program?

I am not asking HOW to hack into it....I just want to know if it is possible and what the chances are that someone could do it.

Thank-you,
Bots

I don't think Hack was the right word. If you are wanting access to the programs parental control panel you my need to explore the program more. I haven't used this program so i'm not sure.

Is there a control panel gui within the program to access the parental control applet?

You may need to explain yourself more so we can help.

Yes... I just discovered a small exploit that will open the safe eyes filter for 5 min.... no more no less... this process can be repeated.... which is fairlly annoying

Yes, it's quite simple actually. recently my parents put it on my computer becaause my friend borrowed my computer and went on all sorts of well, disturbing sites. so i only had 5 minutes of access time a day, so i downloaded a password crasker program onto my computer and it worked like a charm
