I think we need some clarification here, Darthy, so we have a clearer understanding of precisely what you want to do.
For example, what kind of forum is this that you are going to send the E-mail to? Is the E-mail being sent to a member of the forum, or to something else? Are you using the forum's OWN E-mail facility (if it has one) or are you going to send an E-mail from your own account?
Thanks,
John

Hi jgweed and thanks for your reply. smile.gif

What I want is to post e-mails with attachments in the speak easy forum. Is this possible?

What is the forum's OWN E-mail facility? blink.gif Where can I learn about this issue? huh.gif

Thanks and regards,

Darthy

There is a Paul Newman movie titled "Cool Hand Luke" which has the famous line "what we have here is a failure to communicate", and I wonder if that's what is happening here.

Darthy, are you talking about adding a picture or an image to your posts in the speak easy? These posts are available to the general public to read, if you want to have a private message sent to a member in the speak easy forum then you would use e-mail or pm them.

If you are trying to add a picture/image to your post you will need to open an account with a website which will host your images, and the you can add them to your posts.

Two of these sites that have been suggested by others are imageshack, and photobucket.

There are more out there , you just have to

If you are wanting to add an image to a post here at BC. This link may help. smile.gif

Inserting An Image Within A Post

It is best to not post a image that is fairly large. Thumbnails or
direct links are a better way to post larger images.
Small to medium ones can be imbedded directly in a post.

All of which is explained in the information, I linked you to.

Thanks Scarlett for your help. smile.gif
