Giving that 10lb Dictionary a work out,Orange Blossom?

No, not that one. My 15 pound dictionary. It's my favorite. Sometimes I take it with me to tutoring sessions. I've even lugged it all over campus with class texts and library books to have it handy. The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language fourth edition. ISBN 0-395-82517-2 (Hardcover). Houghton Mifflin Company, 2000. I paid princely sum for that dictionary. I can read it for hours and never get bored.

Indeed : a Spockian raised left eyebrow:

A good thing you don't share my house. I have teddy bears of all sorts everywhere, and they're not all bears either. Some of them read books. smile.gif

The word now is "Naive". Let's keep this game going in the spirit that it was started, I have been a senior member for sometime.
If members decide to get stuck on a letter like "y", they must be bound by "yokes" to one another and their dictionary and what they assume is funny, so perhaps they should suggest their own game where the two can spend time together doing "y's" and let the regulars come back and enjoy good fun!!!

These games are for lightheartedness after possibly dealing with other more serious threads in the forum where answers are being sought; let's keep everyone involved that were here before.

It is so flagrantly noticeable that regulars have dropped out of this forum thread, I don't blame them..
Next celebrated letter will likely be "x or z"!!!?? hysterical.gif It is like playing bridge with 2 people!!!!..

These comments are made only to get us back to the whole purpose of the game and that is to be creative and use different words and not have a couple play a game between themselves, perhaps they should PM one another and get their own game going.

I really would like to see some of the regulars back and see some genuine fun again!!! ( and not "y" oh "y"!!)

Cheers, that's what games are all about.... "fun times"!!! Not redundancy of letters.

After all this is a forum!! And simply one of the best that is for certain. smile.gif
The games make the misery of problems that we may have posted for answers or suggestions and are waiting for much more tolerable!!
A Great compliment for BC, who has been here helping us all for a long time!! Cheers with many thankyous.

" Humour , the problem defining humour is such that several scholars have doubted that an all embracing definition could be formulated. " smile.gif

That says it all!! smile.gif

Humour or if it is Fozzies word, "egotistical".
