Iodine this everyday word game is ruined by new members who think it is

the place to make like the Bigger the word so it enhances their Status/Image. I have received so many PM's about them, and tried to ignore them..most from other forums who know me from those. I have been a member in this section for a long time and don't think it is prestigious to talk Big....
So I have had fun with other older members from the beginning simply posting a word, not taking something from a dictionary that is a word not used in normal converstation.....if that is their intention; then I really believe they should start their own....game and play with themselves
We are common American people whose children once enjoyed the game until now!!!
CRAPBTW Iodine, thankyou for speaking up as you are a Great Gamer as is No one and we all have been around for a Long Time!!!
Cheers!!!
And BTW, this was not meant as a nefarious comment. it was meant in all sincerity to be an observation picked up by another "gamer" of sometime and also a reflection of PM's that I have been receiving.
After all we are here for light hearted fun!!! And that includes my "teens and tweens " who I try to keep interested in Forums where Quality help is available... and for a family that is important as we do not encourage our children to "chat" which they don't/

If we do not strive to increase our vocabulary and accept the lessor speaking skills as the social norm then our language will turn from a very diversified tool to crap.
Georgia, it's too bad that you feel the way that you do, there are those of us that enjoy learning new things and those of us that don't need a dictionary to choose these words or to look them up in a dictionary to understand most of them. I admit that there have been a couple that have had me running for a dictionary, but I have enjoyed being able to add another word to my vocabulary.
aural
georgia

Some people's ears are aurally sensitive.
I made the comments b/c our "teens and tweens" are active in these games which is what the better half and I prefer rather than have them off "chatting".
When the game turns into using a dictionary their interest wanes especially when many of these words will not likely be used by them today or in the very near future.
Use of the computer by them is limited to their assignments and this site, thus I mentioned it.
Our family have been around this site for sometime.
Best Regards.

Are you sure that's a word dc3, I know ambiguous is but this I'm not so sure about, I may have to check your dictionary you fiend.

Now if ambiguous means something that has more than one meaning then it would follow that disambiguation would be the removal of the double meaning of a word or sentence. What ya think? close?
