How much time will it take me to study C++.

I know C, but i hv heard that Object oriented programming is a
lot difficult compared to C.

mmm lets see. I would have to say that the time it takes to learn C++ is directly proportional to the length of time you spend working on learning on it.



Answer to your question my friend is its up to you.

C++ is similar to C so it depends on what you want to learn and what you want to do.

compared to starting C++ from scratch it would take less time. C++ is quite similar to C, im quite new to both languages but i find them interesting hand hope to learn both.

I'd say if you set your mind to it and dedicate some time each day, you'll be able to get a good grip on it in less than a year.

Since the architecture and some of syntax are the same, it should be much easier to learn C++. Once you learn the disciplines involved in programming, each new programme language you learn becomes much easier.

C is not just "similar" to C++. C is a sub-set of the C++ programming language. If you have a good knowledge of C you will have a good basis to learn C++ from. Object Oriented Programming is not very difficult to learn and it is well worth the effort to master it.

As someone else said, how much time it will take you to learn C++ depends on how much time and commitment you put into it. You don't get anything for nothing - particularly in Computer Science.

It just takes a while for a first-time learner to grasp the concept of it...
I do recommend you leave yourself plenty of time...
