Does anyone know of any reasons why laptop is insisting on a scandisk on every restart or startup. When i do let it run through no errors are found..

Does it shut down ok? I believe that Windows will do a scan disk on startup if it has shut down incorrectly.

Try running Ccleaner to see if this can "fix" windows somewhat. A friends laptop did the same thing as yours, so I ran Ccleaner on it and it seemed to fix it. Let's hope that you have the same luck!

If this doesn't fix it, please post back and we'll see what else we can do to solve this for you!
