Full Version: New/sata Hd/nforce4-a754/amd 64/pci Express

Not the first time upgrading a PC - but it has been a few years. New- nforce4-a754 - AMD sempron 64 - 512x2 184 pin Mem - PCI Express x16 graphics - WD 200 G SATA HD - I am not getting squat - no screen - no indication of drives being read, incl floppy - made boot disc, no go - switched out new HD, plugged in old HD, still get nothing. checked wiring all looks good. Fans run on MB and CPU. Clueless

Check your memory. I just jumped through all the same hoops you described last week only to find out that I had a dead stick of RAM.

Run one stick at a time, and try it in various slots.

tried one stick of ram in each slot - still nothing - fudge!
