Hi. I hope someone can help. I want to upgrade to USB 2.0. Can I do this with a card? Or do I need to upgrade my BIOS? Thanks. cold.gif

When you purchase a USB 2.0 PCI card, then it will work on your computer-over 95% chance. If it is a notebook computer, then you may spend more money, but they are available.

Thanks. I placed an order at DABS for a cheap card so I'll give it a go. cold.gif

Did you get a 4-port one? If not, you my need a USB hub when you want to hook up more then one item.

Also, installation on these cards are very easy. Have you installed any hardware in your computer before?

Whoops! Thanks for the advice. I cancelled my original order and have placed one for a 4 port. I've installed cards before so I should be OK . cold.gif
