I keep getting a netster.com popup. It directs my computer to their website http//search-time.com/search.php?q=remove9620spyware. I can't get rid of it using Spysweeper or Norton Antivirus.

I tried a search for terms in files and deleted , No Luck

Just as I was writing my first post it redirected me a few minutes ago. HELP!

Did you install the Netster SmartBrowse Toolbar? If so, uninstall it via Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

Then download and scan with Ad-Aware SE Personal. Setup & Configure as shown here.

Download and scan with Spybot S&D 1.4. Setup & Configure as shown here.
[DO NOT choose the option to install TeaTimer]

Quietman 7,

I didn't see the netster program to delete nor did I download the toolbar but I guess that doesn't mean it's not on my PC. I'll try your recomendations and let you know.

Thanks,
Ken

When done with the above, if your running Win XP/2000, download and scan with Ewido Anti-Malware v3.5
Ewido Install and Scan Instructions

and then perform these online Virus scans:
[Watch the Address bar in IE. You may receive alerts that "This site might require the following ActiveX control...Click here to install...". Click on that alert and then Click Install ActiveX component.]
Trend Micro Housecall Scan
Panda ActiveScan [ActiveScan Panda does not remove adware/spyware but will autoclean for viruses & worms.]

Quietman 7,

Thank you very much in helping me eliminate the netster popup. It looks like the Ewido program did the job. I did everything you suggested and haven't seen the popup since Saturday night.

Thanks again,
Ken
