Guide Overview

The purpose of this guide is to teach you how to Changing Audio File Formats from MP3 to Wave or Wave to MP3.

Instructions

1. Step 1: Install the application on a specfic location such as: C:\Programs\Easy MP3 Converter
   
   
2. Step 2 : Open up the application. Which is located in your Program Files.
   
   
3. Step 3 : Options -> Configure and select your Output folder. Then Press OK.
   
   
4. Step 4 : Select the option Wave to MP3 or MP3 to Wave, Which is just above the white display screen.
   
   
5. Step 5 : Click on Add, Which will look like this:
   
   
6. Step 6: Search for your audio files and add them.
   
   
7. Step 7 : Then click on 'Convert' which will look like this:
   
   
8. Step 8 : Let the conversion finish.

Well Done! Your Audio File has just changed to a new format

Please Note: The free verion of Easy MP3 Converter has a limit of 5 minutes.

I have used Audiograbber and CDex, using LAME Encoder. Audiograbber CDex and one Tool I just found while surfing (seeming to do a heap of stuff for free): Super

Audacity (free) will do it, too.
Wav, MP3, OGG

Audacity is good, I am using it now I like the reverse feature, all songs sound weird in it!

Its ShareWare though and it does MP3 to Wave Vice-Versa.

I've used the free version of Switch to convert mp3 & wav files to aac for ringtones. The program also "Converts to a variety of output formats including Wave, MP3, AIFF, Vox and Raw + many others" (from the help files).

It worked well and quickly. However, be aware that when you download the program, it will ask you if you want to download other programs as well. If you are strictly looking for the free audio file converter, pass this list by. This is time-limited shareware, and I think that the first time I wound up downloading the pro version of Switch when I downloaded the others, and later kept getting the "trialversion expired" notice before the program would close.
