I had seen some posts here regarding a tool bar icon and after downloading the latest build, see Quietman7's post here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...ndpost&p=268507

I found that there is now an option to have the icon present in the toolbar at all times.

From the main screen go to "Tools" and then to "Options". At the bottom of the "Real-time protection options", there is an option to "Choose when the Windows Defender icon appears in the notification area".

There are 2 options-the 1st is "Only if Defender detects an action to take" (present setting) or "Always"-which will show the icon in the toolbar with a green check while Defender is running.

Thank you---I was looking for that option too--works fine.

I looked for this option but it does not exist. The last line I have in tools is 'use real-time protection (recomanded).
I also saw that in the help they refer to 'General Options' but I have 'options'.
So I dont have the option 'Automaticly scan my computer'.

Do you have any idea?
