Although this is the first time I am posting to the site, I am technically not a new member. I just want to say hello to all of Grinler's new friends. icon_hello.gif

If you are just like my wife, I would imagine, you say nearly on a daily basis to your other, "are you on the computer again?!?!"

You have a very dedicated and talented husband.

Thanks for taking the time to come aboard to see how this board is.

Hello MRS Grinler!!

Can Larry come out today and play?

Thanks for supporting "the old Man" - he's really helped a large number of us "kiddies" out.

Regards,
~Koan

It's a pleasure to meet you MrsGrinler, your husband does excellent work here. smile.gif

I owe you a debt of gratitude, Mrs. Grinler.
In tolerating the long hours your husband puts in here (and no doubt instances of inexplicable mood changes provoked by this, that or the other thing, that comes with the territory of fightin' frustrating problems - worldwide) you help make it possible for him to connect with people who really can benefit from the often ground-breaking information he provides us. Thank you very much, and join us when you can. tongue.gif

I would like say that I think your husband is doing a grand thing here with his Bleepingcomputer.com. LOL But I am sure you already know that. I for one am glad to have help here at BC and very grateful for the time Larry takes to maintain BC... and thanks to you too. clapping.gif w00t.gif

Your's Truly,

Its been fun watching the site grow- but don't thank me--besides putting up with a busy husband, I have had little to do with it. Your enthusiastic responses reassure me that all of Grinler's time and hard work has been worthwhile.

I have no idea what I would of done had I not stumbled across this wonderful site. It has been a Godsend to me. I thank Grinler and you also. As I'm sure that your support of him and this site helps makes it the success that it is. smile.gif

The others have expressed things well, so I'll just say Hello icon_hello.gif

Hah... dont listen to her. She has been a big help.

Heres a few things:
  • Forgot to mention that she actually came up with the name of the domain BleepingComputer.com. She gets full props for that
  • Didn't sulk or pout for "too" long when I said "just one more minute".
  • Let me get back on the computer
  • Was supportive
  • Didnt yell when i climbed into bed at 2 am
  • Eventually gave me my keyboard back
Just kidding on the last one smile.gif

Welcome to the site MrsGrinler welcome.gif

I have to admit, it is a rather catchy phrase.

It is wonderful to have a spouse that, not only respects and understands your hobbies and passions, but also sees the fruit of the labors.

ummmm...mrs grinler? care to list your birthday, anniversary, favorite color, favorite restaurant, etc here? that way, when MR grinler says, oh, gee..i just don't know WHAT to get my wife...OR, we'll be saying, hey, grin...your better half's bd is next week!.........damn. wish I had a site that offered to remind MY husband...it took him 22 years to get my birthday right!

welcome, and ty SOOO much for humoring him on a daily basis. my puter would have been off indefinitely had it not been for this site. i am disabled..and my other half had been in an auto accident..we went 2 months with almost NO income...and of course, that's when the virus moved in. when it rains....... but grinler had a rainbow on the horizon in days!!

i hope you look around often. i also hope you'll contribute to our games and discussions...being married to grinler...you MUST have a great sense of humor!

i just had to edit this, after i re-read it. is there a site that sends e-mails to spouses? with reminders, wish lists, etc? if not...anyone care to go in with me to START one? this is NOT a joke...there is a need for this..and my husband, while NEVER forgetting our anniversary, really DID take 22 years to get my b-day right...for some reason, he got it set in his head it was october, instead of august..and it bothered him as much, if not more, than it did me!
