Is there a way of Patritioning a Hard Drive without reformating
Sepu
yes, you can use the program called "Partition Magic"
Snapper
you can, but there is no point, if you have no filing system, you cant save data.
if you have a corrupt partition, you can use the hdd manufacturer tools to try to repair it. i would suggest if you do t hst that you ghost your info over to another drive.

or, take another drive (a), partition it, do a "partition to partition" ghost (from cool.gif, take a, and do an OS repair on it, and see if that is enough to fix it. if so ghost (mirror) "a" back to "b" and boot.

questions? lol

But if a partition then reformat the partition would that work... the reason I don't wanna reformat is because I don't want to have to reinstall os blablabla...
Snapper
if you format a partition, you lose the files on that partition, and can only get them back using recovery software.
what exactly are you trying to do?
Klinkaroo
Not really any reason for it but I got an 80gig hardrive and wanted to partition it into a 60 and a 20 without having to reinstall windows and stuff...
