im wondering if there is a way to tell if my integrated graphics card is overheating or not?

Could we know why you are worried about this.

Integrated graphics are not normally very powerfull so heat is not a big issue with them...

If you get into the bigger add-on video cards these things are almost a computer in themselves...

I have added 40X40X10mm fans to video cards by simple screwing them onto the heatsink. I could not for see a problem doing that to a onboard video adapter. Here is was the type of fan I am referring to...

nevermind, i figured out that the problem wasnt overheating card... something else

What was it? May be someone else could benefit.
