I managed to connect the front panel connectors wrong to a motherboard and somehow it fried the power button. I did some testing and everything in the computer is working fine except the button. Right now I'm turning on my computer by tapping the two wires together. Do you think I can get this repaired by a computer repair shop or am I gonna have to buy a whole new case? I really don't feel like shelling out the money for a new case.

All you need is a momentary switch that will handle 12V @ 15 - 20amps. If you know how to make a decent solder connection, go to you local computer shop and see if you can get one from them and install it yourself, it's a non-polar device.
You can find switches at Radio Shack, but if you can find on in a computer shop you will have a better chance of finding one which will fit the existing mounting system and hole in the case.

thanks. I can't solder but I know someone that does so I'll go check it out. I'm glad I didn't rush to buy a case online last night.
