I have a 2Wire modem which has a hardware firewall and I run TM PC-cillin Internet Security 2006 which has a software firewall. When I run the Sygate security test and the GRC tests with both firewalls activated the results come out as "stealth" on all ports tested. Is that the correct way to run the tests, with both firewalls activated? If so, does this mean my firewalls are working correctly? Are these tests mainly for the firewalls? One more question, are there any more free online firewall tests? Sorry for all of the firewall questions, it's one of those days. Any input is appreciated. Thanks. (the 2wire modem is one that came with the sbc yahoo dsl).

I just ran the GRC Leak Test and the system passed it. I believe the leak test is specifically for firewalls.

Your system is working perfectly. GRC is a good test to assure you, you have adequate protection. Yes you want your computer to function in stealth mode. This not only blocks other computers from gaining access to your computer, it also refuses to respond so the attacking computer does not even know your are on the internet. Thats a good thing.
