Hi there people. I am a brand new member to this group from the wet
coast of Canada.( no I didn't mispell the word west ). I am retired
and use the computer to keep the old brain from stagnating. I got
into computers 10 years ago to be able to understand what my kids
were talking about and found that they weren't impossible to get
along with (computers,not the kids). I find that getting yourself
out of trouble with them,instead of running for help all of the time
is the best way to learn about the beasts. However I sometimes do
have to admit I need help. Hence I am here.

I bought my son's computer when he needed an upgrade there at Arizona State Engineering. "Here Dad, it's all ready to go. Some .mp3's. The Office Suite I don't use, and oh, by the way, you should keep the AVG & think about getting a firewall. I'll help you if you have any problems" I guess he was gettin' even with me for the "driver trainin'" I gave 'em, all the while tryin' to share a lifetime of auto mechanical miscellaneous & playin' with our homemade Street Luge strapped to the top of the Toyota, lookin' for empty downhill streets in the early hours of Sunday mornings... I'm still thinkin' 'bout firewalls and updating my AVG here in wet NW usa. Come on in, post & share your pros & cons with us, Galah
