any other info i can provide?
I have lost my sound and my graphics have turned horrible ever since i re installed windows. I think it is because i have deleted my sound & graphic card drivers. May i know how i could fix this? Btw, my computer only allows me to put my colour on '2colours' or '16colours' and my current 640X480 resolution
P.S. If you need any more info , just post here or pm me

This happened after you reinstalled windows?
Have you downloaded the latest drivers for each of these devices and installed them?

How did you do the re-install? Was it with the full version of Windows or a restore CD that came with the computer?

I would like to see what your computer has.
Please d/l Everest Home v1.51 from
here. When you are finished, click the green icon and select report ->report wizard -> select system summary only -> and next. When the report comes on the screen, select save to file. Open the file, and copy all of it up to debug PCI. Paste it as a reply, if you have any information like (100.000.0.000), please change it to xxx.xxx.xx.xxx
With the information that you provide, I will be able to help you find the proper drivers.

Have you opened up your computer before? If you have, you may want to check for loose connections to see if everything is in tight. In your situation, I would re-seat all of the connections: hard drive, RAM, and even the CD/DVD drives.
If possible, can you provide the mobo name? Even the exact brand name and model number would help, such as E-machine T-2460.

mobo is short for motherboard.
You can find the brand name and model number of the computer by what is on front of the case. If you bought it at a store such as Best Buy or Radio Shack, then common names may be Compac, E-Machine, Dell, HP, but there are others.
If your computer was bought from an individual, then it could be "home-built" and there would not be a model name on it. You may need to call them and ask them about the motherboard.
