'ello! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a program that would convert a .exe program to either a .bin, .dat, or .hex. (Essentially, I want to be able to open up my .exe program in a hex editor.) If anyone could tell me how to do this, it would be greatly apprecitiated. smile.gif

Running windows xp.
And is that hex editor able to open .exe files or tranlate them? If not, i already have the editor, I just need a way to open a .exe in a hex editor, and be able to read it correctly tongue.gif

This is what hex editors are designed to do: Open an executable file for editing.

QUOTE
What is a hex editor?

A hex editor is a program which allows you to edit raw programs and data-files. These editors are called hex editors because they most often present data in hexadecimal format.
