Got nothing to do...

Been there, done that.

Two desktops (mom and family), two laptops (mom [work] and me!); My laptop and family compys are connected to the net.

Got 6 computer laying around here.

Got 2 laptops (one that works, one that doesn't), got 2 new custom built computers, got the family computer for my mom, and then I got one from my mom's friend that doesn't work.

Oops almost forgot about my 386x and my 486x in the basement.

Makes 8. (I voted six... cause I forgot about the 2 dinosaurs).

And only 3 are always connected to my router (and internet). The 2 custom built computers (my bros' and my main computers), and my mom's computer. My laptop is usually connected, but not always.

I've got 5:

1 AST Advantage (no net), my laptop, my mom's laptop, my desktop, my dad's desktop, and his laptop.

I'm gonna get another laptop soon (don't worry, I'm not spoiled. It's a Toshiba Satellite 1000 series [which means ancient])

Two, one on net. and one on the floor, the desk, on the shelf...

I have 11 P-III 1.4ghz, 2 P-III dual proccessor (P-III 500mhz) HP servers. 3 printers connected thru a 3 port HP print server. 1 mono-laser, 1 All-In-One HP G-85, 1 dot matrix for printing continuios feed labeled. Everything is routered to the internet via a 6mb/768kb internet connection. I have a 2 computer work station that has 2 to 3 computers being repaired at any given time. Do it could be as many as 16 computers accessing the internet at any given time.
This is my home.

Acklan evertime you post about your network and computers I envy you. My parents only got a P-II 233 and a P4 3.0 GHz and I have to share with my bro. And all you gamers that use your parents computer know how hard it is to share with your bro or lil sis or try to convince your parents to upgrade something. I just got pissed off and went I bought a stick of 512 mb of ram and a sound card and some decent speakers and when I build my computer next year I'll just take back my pieces.

Run down to the GoodWill and pick up an old P-III for about $50. Then you have your own computer. Not pretty but it would be your. Then build one piece at a time.

It's probably that an anomaly in the board data backup has reset the poll count. Only the Admin would know for sure.
