The person that awnsered T1 what ISP do you have and why do you have it? I am thinking of getting it when I am older to run game servers and have absolutely no lag when I play.

I didn't know that cable internet could get that fast. Sometimes during none peak hours (the 6 o'clock news, american idle, ect lol...) I can hit higher then T1 but normaly I am around 1200.


FYI I stopped it at 1500 because I went by the cnet test and anything higher would be T1.

I'm on dial up now but that soon is going to have to change. I am going to do some cost comparing this week and see what I can figure out. I WANT CABLE !!!!!

I get 5442.56 Kbps with Cable. Didn't enter the cable vote so as not to unbalance the results.

I get 1500 Kbps with Adelphia cable, but they say I should get 4Mbps...

Well, the speed I posted is what my compy said the connection speed was...but after re-reading everyone else's posts, I think my computer is wrong...I think its more like 100Kbps, maxing out at 1 mbps tongue.gif ...however, I'm at my college right now, and it does get close to 100mbps...thank God for T3+!! grinner.gif
