I was just wondering after how many posts do we go up in "Ranks" like the Forum Regular, addict,ext...?

Someone else asked this a while back. It took a while to find it, but here is the link:

Posting in the Forum Games and Bleeping Computer Arcade does not raise
post count. smile.gif

Edit: Thanks rms4evr! Oops I see now that you beat me to it.
That is what I get for readying the reply, and leaving to do something else before I posted it.

Is it possible to change the CT (custom title) if you're not an admin or advisor? Like Scarlett has "Bleeping Diva".....

And i still have a little work to do to become distinguished...... poo
yano
Yes, you just need atleast 1000 posts to change your member title.

It won't be that long, Heretic Monkey.
As of now you're at 523 posts, averaging 1.3 posts a day.
Just 59.230769230769230769230769230769 days to go. smile.gif

Thats only 2 months. tongue.gif

Heretic Monkey you're still doing better then me. You joined the forum the day before me and you have 2.5x the posts.

Lol, thanx for the math tg, you must've been bored..... laugh.gif

I've actually been making more posts in the general chat and games section recently, and haven't really been trying to help people out.... i've been shirking my semi-amateur duties!

argh. I'm almost at 300 then I see its 350 for the next rank.

I wonder how many posts I'd have if I posted like crazy when I first joined instead of joining then not coming back for awhile. . .

Same here. I don't know everything, and no one does. I just help out when I know how to fix something that I know how to fix. smile.gif

Hi Everyone smile.gif

A gentle Mod reminder.
Posting just to raise one's post count is frowned upon.
So let's not get to carried away. O.K. ?
Useless unnecessary posts can be removed.

Thank You

I agree with Scarlett. I don't like reading useless posts, especially when I have a few days of catch-up reading to do. I only post when I have something to say.

BTW, I usually don't notice when I move up a rank until a few days after...its just not the most important thing for me. I get my pleasure from learning about my compy, or jumping in the middle of a hot debate. hysterical.gif
