I don't know what's cheap for you but, there's a configurator on this page and they have some decent stuff.
Play around with it and see if you can come up with something in your budget.

What is you price range? Remember, you get what you pay for. Gaming it one of the most computer intense activities for a computer. If you go cheap the gaming will be less than desirable. Depending on what games you want to play $1500 is about the minimun you will get buy with.

That site that boopme pointed out is a good site, and offers a decent computer for the price. Only thing is I'd get a comp with atleast 2gb ram, and a better vga card. Make note that the computer does NOT come with windows on it. You have to purchase that by checking a box in the last steps of configuration, and yes, it costs extra. Also, they do not come with a monitor, but can be purchased seperatly.

My brother currently has a:
3.4ghz (Pent 4. 540 I think)
1gb DDr
ATI X300
some basic things. MOST games today, he can run. Sims 2, Call of Duty 2, Battlefield 2, etc etc.
The ONLY games he can't run are Half-life2, Doom3, etc.
Its basically the lowest form of gaming, but still kicks ass if your not expecting SUPER HD clarift or ne thing. The X300 card will suffice imo.
