I have four USB video webcams. A single webcam can run at 30 fps with 640x480 resolution. I'd like to be able to run all 4 cameras at this frame rate and resolution simultaneously. If my only slow down is going to occur from transfering image data (i.e. from camera all the way to monitor), what hardware should I be concerned about? Am I going to need more USB controllers? Can I expect USB to transfer this much data? Etc... Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

Your biggest concern will be bandwigth. Pumping anything other than rotating images it going to lockup the upstream feed on your connection. What type of HSI do you have Cable, DSL, ISDN,..?
