Does anybody know what today is?
Pi Day!

Here are a few fun resources:
http://www.vvc.edu/ph/TonerS/mathpi.html <==nice flash video about pi
http://www.tomdukich.com/math%20pi%20piano%20solo.html <== pi on the piano
http://www.avoision.com/experiments/pi10k/pi10k.html <== fun flash thing that allows you to assign a number to a note, then it plays pi!
http://www.winternet.com/~mchristi/piday.htmlToday is "Pi Day!" because the date makes up the first two digits of pi. March is 3, and today is the 14. So when you write out the date you get 3/14

One example,
COULOMB. A measure of the quantity of electricity. One coulomb is equal to 6.28 x 1018 electrons.

Intersting, I also did a little research. You'll be surprised how often phi shows up everywhere.
