This is the message that my laptop is giving me: C:\System Volume Information\_restore(758-4EEZ-AE8C-B061828C1D28)\RP270\A0034680.exe

it has been popping up a lot lately. I performed the following:
virus definition updates
spybot and adaware updates

I ran those programs in safe mode, but the message is still popping up.

That file is located in your System Restore Folder and doesn't appear to be a legitiment file.

What you will need to do is make sure your computer is running to the best because we are going to delete the Restore Points so after this it will not be possible to restore back from the point when we delete them.

Double Check you computer to make sure you are clean.

How to Remove Restore Points.

I am assuming since you posted in the Win95/98*Grinler Forum that you are running WinME.
Disabling or enabling Windows Me System Restore:

Just in case you are running WinXP and accidentally post in the wrong forum.. cool.gif

After removing the restore points go to System Restore and create a new one.
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore>Create New Restore Point.
