Do to an unprecedented amount of ineptitude on the part of my phone company I have been off line for almost a month. All of this started with a billing error on MCIs part, after refusing to pay the outrageous amount they wanted, they terminated my service, and then wrote to tell me that they had made an error and that my service would be restored, three weeks later they still hadn't figured out how to switch my service back on. I resolved my problem by switching from MCI to Verizon, and wound up with a better deal, $28 a month including my basic service, unlimited long distance, and local toll calls, almost all of my clients are local toll calls which MCI was trying to bill be at a rate of .05 cents per min, this equated to a bill of $123.00 for local toll calls in one month.
Any way, I'm back...have I missed anything earthshaking?
