Hello,

I'm new to this forum and this is my first question. I'm using a Dell 8200 computer with MS XP Home Edition. I have both Norton Anti-virus and Zone Alarm Pro. In Zone Alarm my firewall setting is "high", my privacy setting is "medium" and my ID lock is "high". My question is: I started getting alerts that "Object 80009fc" was trying to access the internet. I didn't know what this was, so I denied it. When I checked my program control, I saw that there was a dozen or so Object 8000 programs listed, all with different suffixes. I tried to activate my browser (IE) to investigate, but couldn't connect (using roadrunner cable), so I restarted the computer. Now I can access, but I don't know what to do about the Object 8000 programs. What are they? Are they dangerous? Should I "kill" them with Zone Alarm? Is there a way to remove them?

Thank you!

Thank you! I'll read the Microsoft site and see what it says.
