I read one article that stated that the proff. went a little overboard. I also read that the dean of the school was not happy on how he took it into his own hands to tell the students (i think the dean wanted to do it?). I looked for the link and havn't been able to find it.

Now I have a new sig that I might use somewhere:

"...with respect to teaching, the facts just aren't that important." University of California, Berkeley, professor, Jasper Rine

Yeah, everything he was saying did seem like an overkill.......

Besides, why would a guy that had that much importance really have his information that easily stolen?

If he would've refrained from saying half of that stuff, he might have come off as more believable, and MAYBE would've gotten is system back............. the kid was smart not to be fooled (not that i'm saying i'm happy for the &!%#@ that stole the laptop...)

And why would he bring all the confidentional data to school and leave his laptop lying around...

And if he had a transpoder in a laptop why wouldn't he just go to where it was coming from or send security instead of saying we know where you have been....
