Just did all the protection installs recommended on B's site (I am proud owner of my first laptop). On Major Geeks site, from where I did the Spyware Blaster download, there is a recommended install of Spyware Doctor. I have it on my desktop computer--did you once recommend it and do you still?

By the way, will I ever get used to this new critter's touchpad mouse?!? ranting2.gif
I really want to--but the little wireless or USB mousies I see out there are looking pretty enticing.

BC does not recommend commercial applications, so it is not on our pinned lists of applications.
Spyware Doctor is free to try, but costs $29.95. It is "PC Magazine Editor's Choice Winner in 2005 and 2006. Also voted by PC Magazine the Best Anti-Spyware of 2005."

Get a real mouse instead of using the touchpad.

John
