I downloaded the above sometime ago,now I can't access their web site sad.gif I presume the programme is still working in my computer? Anyone know of this firewall or of any others (free) to compliment the firewall in XP.
Thanks.

One should never run two firewalls simultaneously, since they will conflict and could cause major problems for your operating system. Since the Windows firewall is only one way (only incoming and not outgoing packets are examined), I would suggest you disable it and use Tiny. Two very good free firewalls are Zone/Alarm and Sygate Personal Firewall (I use the latter).

Here are links to these, and other, good freeware that you may want to use:

the avice from a computer software programmer said there would be no problems with them used together, and there has been none. I was looking for an update on the tiny.

Hmm, I see that there is now a cost for Tiny. I sure don't appreciate not being able to access the info originately downloaded. Ah well, might have known it was too good to last.

I tried this link but it seems it has been broken somehow.

The link should have an "l" at the end.

The above does work.

Thanks for the info, I would like to update the firewall in my computer but I am reluctant as I'm not computer literate enough for some of the programmes available. I would like a free programme where once it was downloaded that is all you need do, it does the rest, I'm wondering if Zone alarm is a simple as Tiny Personal Firewall was/is.?
