What are the steps to backing up bookmarks in Fire Fox. Thanks, Tony

Firefox / Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / File / Export...
Save them to your desktop, then just burn them to a disk.

OR,

You can just copy them directly from your Profile folder.
Set windows to show hidden files,
How to see hidden files in Windows
Then navigate to:
C:\ Documents and Settings \ user name \ Application Data \ Mozilla \ Firefox \ Profiles \ default.random characters \ Bookmark.html
Copy Bookmark.html, and burn it to disk.

I just export them to the Desktop every week or so...

It's also good to export them to IE, which you should have if you want to get Windows Updates

Firefox can be quirky...

I lost a folder a few days ago..

I imported the bookmarks from IE and deleted everything but the missing folder/
