hey i am student and new to the site just wondered if any body could advise me on what the best software is to use for programming

What programme language are you planning to use? If you are unsure about this, there is a very good thread about "what language should I learn?" in this very forum.

Hi man It depends what language you study.If your studying C/C++ .I suggest You go for Bloodshed Dev it is easy to use and is available for free. Serach for it on Google.com
