I tried to connect my dell pc to my television using an ATI Radeon X300 series S-Video connection. I can view my pc screen on my television but only in black and white. How can I view it in color?

You could check the connections on the cable. Dodgy cables/connections can be a common reason for this. Also try connecting everthing, turn the tv on then the pc. This is the usual problem I have when my media pc goes all retro.

Make sure the settings are correct for the S-Video out.
Most TV's have a very low resolution (less then 800x600)

I believe NTSC (American TV) is 640 x 480, PAL is 720 x 486. Could be wrong.
